Information about Planning & Development Committee

The current COVID-19 pandemic means that the Planning and Development Committee cannot meet in its usual form.

While work continues to identify a reliable remote virtual meetings solution, the Chief Executive’s emergency powers are being invoked in the form of an interim decision-making process to determine planning applications which would ordinarily fall to the Planning and Development Committee.
This interim process facilitates members’ and other third parties’ involvement whilst minimising the risks inherent in a remote decision making meeting and is set out in full on our planning committee procedures page.

Following the necessary consultation, the Chief Executive’s decision will be published on 12 June 2020. Please see the agenda for the planning applications to be determined.

Due to a change in systems the links to View Plans and Documents now directs you to our planning website. Please be aware you will need to enter the case reference number and click the search button to view. Please note the case reference is available to copy within each agenda item.
